ENTREPRENEURSHIP 101 · REGISTRATION PRIVACY

Your information.
Handled with care.

This notice describes the information collected through the Entrepreneurship 101 registration form and how Afrifounders Business School intends to use it. It is a programme-specific draft that should be reviewed by the organisation's privacy lead before public launch.

Information collected

We ask for your name, email address, WhatsApp number, country and city, occupation, business stage, industry and relevant business details. We also ask about your learning goals and how you heard about the programme. Business and social links are optional. A separate optional checkbox lets you request other Afrifounders programme updates.

Why it is needed

We use this information to receive and administer registrations, allocate the first twenty sponsored places in registration order, maintain the priority waitlist, communicate joining details, plan learning support and understand registration sources. We use separate consent for optional programme news.

Who can access it

Registration records are stored in a private database accessible through a password-protected administrator dashboard. Authorised Afrifounders programme administrators may use this information for programme administration. When enabled, applications are also mirrored into an access-restricted Google Sheet operated by the programme team, to support real-time registration management. This involves Google processing the submitted information. The website database remains the authoritative registration record. The site is not built to sell applicant data or share it with advertising networks.

How the form works

The form uses an essential, short-lived session cookie to protect submissions against cross-site request forgery. Anti-abuse checks may use a one-way hash of the requesting network address for a limited period. This website does not include advertising pixels or behavioural analytics scripts.

Retention and your choices

Information should be retained only for programme administration and legitimate follow-up, and reviewed for deletion when no longer needed. For a request to access, correct or delete your application data, please contact Afrifounders through its official contact page. Consent for optional programme news can be withdrawn separately.

Security

Registrations are transmitted to the server and should be deployed only over HTTPS. Passwords and database credentials are not stored in the public website's JavaScript. Administrators are responsible for protecting dashboard access, database backups, and any exported CSV files.

Updates

Programme administration practices may be updated as the service develops. A reviewed and dated final notice should replace this draft when the website is deployed publicly.
